Frequently asked questions

What does Denttach Gold contain?

Denttach Gold is FDA-registered. We formulate it to contain up to 30% extra virgin ORGANIC olive oil.

The other ingredients are Cellulose Gum, Calcium/Sodium PVM/MA Copolymer, Hydrogenated Soybean Oil, Trihydroxystearin, Silica, Menthol, Lecithin, Citrus Limon Peel Oil, Menthyl Lactate.

Can I use Denttach Gold on partial dentures?

Denttach Gold can be used for full partial upper and lower dentures. Please note that Denttach Gold guarantees the hold for acrylic-based dentures only, and not for metal-based ones.

Is it normal for Denttach Gold to have an unusual taste?

While the taste is neutral, you may feel a difference in the first few weeks due to years of prior use of a Petrolatum cream. This is common as the body needs time to adjust to the new paste.

After this period, you will not be affected by this phenomenon. The extra virgin olive oil is behind this change of taste since we decided to remove petrochemicals commonly used in the formulation of denture adhesive creams and opted for a natural and healthier
alternative

How long does Denttach Gold’s hold last?

The adhesive cream holds up to 24 hours for full upper dentures (depending on the user). Due to gum resorption, the hold is less strong for lower dentures. Also, the accumulation of saliva on the floor of the mouth due to gravity and hot drinks tends to alter the hold in most cases.

What if I swallow Denttach Gold after applying it on my denture?

When used as directed, Denttach Gold is generally well tolerated and has a long-established safety profile. Small amounts of Denttach Gold can be accidentally swallowed, and it is not known to be harmful. However, avoid ingesting large amounts of denture adhesive.

Why is Denttach Gold oozing when I'm wearing my dentures?

If this issue happens, it certainly means that you are applying too much cream on your denture. We strongly recommend you reduce the quantity of cream used. Make sure to follow the application method in the instructions sheet and adjust your amount as needed.

How many applications can I make with one tube of Denttach Gold?

Each tube of Denttach Gold contains 68 grams. On average, a tube lasts for approximately 35 days, per denture.

How do I remove Denttach Gold residue after each application?

After a long period, the adhesive will naturally loosen. If you find it difficult to remove them, the adhesion properties are still active. Reduce the amount of cream used if you want a shorter hold time.

If needed, use warm water If removal is still difficult, rinse your mouth with warm water for 1-2 minutes. Ensure the water flows between the dentures and your gums.
