I started my denture journey 2.5 years ago. At that time I was just given my disability and was able to purchase my temporary set of dentures myself after no teeth for 5 months. Since then I have not had the funds to get my permanents. I dont qualify for state funding and medicare just doesnt want to pay for dentures. That being said im now stuck with dentures that dont fit and that I literally have to use over half a tube of Denntach just to get some type of suction to use glue on top of that. When I got my temporary ones the top teeth sat crooked and I had them redo them and they still are not straight. The right side is angled down and that is embarrassing too. I gave up after 2 attempts. I just deal with them and try not to pay attention to the way they fit. My lips are sunken in and thats frustrating as well. I know this is because the dentures are just not the right ones. I hope you consider me and I understand I'm not the only one going through these same issues. I just want my smile back, to be able to eat normally and feel confident about my looks with them in.
