Denture Journey Story

I never know how to start these things! So I guess the back story…. I’ve always wanted to have pretty teeth but growing up my parents didn’t prioritize dental visits or any medical visits for that matter! My moms side of them family pretty much all have dental problems and most of them have dentures. When I was 18 I got pregnant and my teeth went from bad to really bad! At that time my dentist told me that things looked to be hereditary because all 4 second molars were rotted so he pulled them for the wisdom teeth to take the spot, but those too grew in rotted. After years of pain and constant abscessed plus 2 broken front teeth and all molars basically gone I started looking into implants. After realizing there was no way I could ever afford them even with the dental grant I got I had no other choice but to get dentures. So I was scheduled last Friday for all but 5 teeth on the bottom to be extracted and immediate denture for the top. Well nothing went as planned and they only did the top extractions. The immediate denture couldn’t even be placed in my mouth so I left feeling like I’ve just made the biggest mistake. Saw my dentist on Monday morning and this denture just doesn’t fit at all. The top front push out from my gums and looks like I have bucked teeth. They rub and my gums hurt so bad. I don’t know what to do. I have to return to work tomorrow and I’m worried! I’m a server and this is a nightmare! I stressed this to the dentist and he knows I can’t afford to miss anymore work but I can barely talk so I don’t know what to do!!!
